LISA D'AMOUR

Lisa D'Amour is a playwright and performance artist currently living in New York City. Lisa received her M.F.A. in Playwriting from the University of Texas at Austin in 1996. She has created plays and site-specific performance installations that have been performed at many venues around the U.S. including Zeitgeist (New Orleans), Salvage Vanguard Theater (Austin, TX), Clubbed Thumb Theater (NYC), Intermedia Arts and the Walker Arts Center (Minneapolis, MN). Lisa has received many fellowships and awards, including a Jerome Fellowship, a McKnight Advancement Grant and a MacDowell Colony Residency. She is a core member of the Playwrights' Center and a member of New Dramatists.
